Volunteers collect ONE TONNE of plastic waste and three drums of engine oil from a picturesque tourist beach in just a day

  • Conservationist Steve Trewella and a group of 12 volunteers removed the mess 
  • It was found at Worbarrow Bay in Dorset along the Jurassic Coast  
  • Rope and fishing gear was found from as far afield as Canada and the US  
  • Three drums of used engine oil capable of ‘decimating’ the local environment were also found washed up
